I'm Laura. I live in Tennessee. I've been married to my Boy Scout of a husband for 5 years and we've had our share of adventures. It is true what they say - if you can survive a house renovation together, you can survive anything! We have one child, the Best Baby ever born and she is the most fun person I've ever met.

I sew a lot, craft a little, and avoid cooking whenever possible. I sew because it 1) is both creative and logical, 2) helps save us money and 3) is fun. I craft only when I find something well worth the time and effort (and that generally means that all crafting energy is for the Best Baby's benefit.)

I am opinionated, irreverent, and sometimes sensationally tacky. I started this blog as part of my 2012 New Year's Resolution. I may tell blog-land more about that some other time, but I want to hold myself accountable for now.
